Context
After some bumps and bruises from years in the agency world, I sought stability in the form of in-house work.
In 2013, I joined Experticity (now ExpertVoice) as their Interactive Lead. Experticity was a training platform for retail employees, focused mainly on the outdoor and travel space. As Interactive Lead, I created interactive experiences and trainings that salespeople at say, REI, would take to become certified on a specific brand's products, and in return they would receive a discount on that product. It was a pretty cool platform with a lot of promise. I created experiences for brands like Suunto, Outdoor Research, Beats, and Oakley.
A highlight of my time at Experticity was collaborating with the Oakley team at their headquarters in Foothill Ranch, California. Besides the exotic design of their headquarters, heavily inspired by H.R. Geiger, it was enlightening to work with a large group of creative practitioners at such a large, and well-known brand.

CHG
In 2015, I joined CHG Healthcare as their Senior User Experience Designer. CHG is the largest Locum Tenens agency in the world, placing temporary physicians all over the world through 5 separate brands. CHG was more than an established player in their space (they actually invented the locum tenens industry in the 90s), but their message and online presence had become dated. Their various online properties were not converting well, so my role was focused on a redesign of those sites and pages.
With conversion optimization being such a high-priority, I re-worked their job listings to have the most relevant information and the form in first-view. I then created a dynamic system of messaging sections (I called them Lego blocks) that were interchangeable, so that we could A/B test quickly exactly which messages, and in what order, were converting at the highest level.
